 | | Nov '08 We received the following testimonial today from Michelle, who manages the web content for a few GreyHayes Media websites. She has a new customer and convinced them to switch their hosting over to GHM because she loves the ease of use of LeftSide
Ken,
Site is looking great. I'm so excited that I can now use Leftside to update and maintain the site. It is sooooooo much easier! I'm your best customer because of the ease in which Leftside allows for.
I love the new animated look of the color blast. Much nicer than the original.

 | | Nov '08 Mortgage Modifications Solutions (aka 'KissMyFannie.com') partners Tammy Delacruz and Maureen Tippel are the newest members of the GreyHayes Media family. Their site utilizes LeftSide which allows them to add testimonials, change text, and switch photos as many times as they want.
Their site also utlizes PayPal for payment processing and GreyHayes Media was able to develop some back-end coding which helps secure the intellectual property that MMS is selling, and do so in an automated manner so that MMS doesn't have to take their time to send files to their clients.

Owners Carl and Sue Jock are nationally known for their work and they wanted a website that was professional and reflected the high quality work they do. Sue had design ideas already in mind and brought us some sketches and content to start with and we took it from there, transforming her ideas into a beautiful new website. Their office manager, Kasha got the hang of LeftSide very quickly and was able to get in and tweak the site to make it look exactly the way they wanted it. Stop by and check them out!

The Hodgins family has a history of excellence and service to the north eastern Michigan area and when they felt it was time to step into cyberspace, they asked GreyHayes Media to make them a website that reflected the quality of their products. It was a family affair with Donnie, Tonya and their mom, Sandy, all taking part in building their website, but with LeftSide, Tonya was able to create a great place for them to show off their great work. | | Feb '08 A cool new site joined the portfolio of GreyHayes Media : GlobalPortugueseOutreach.com. Larry Bollback, was looking for a simple, sharp, flashy and yet 'cool' website that communicated his exciting new outreach to the Portuguese speaking peoples of the world. We worked with Larry back in 2000 - 2003 at Word of Life in upstate NY, so he was familiar with our capabilities.... but we were pleasantly surprised by Larry's enthusiasm and excitement over his new site. He had his content entered into his LeftSide content management system and was up and running in only 3 days from when we turned the site over to him!! Check out his cool new site!

 | | Jan '08 Long time in coming, but better later than never... We started working with Northern Michigan Aquatics in the spring of 2007 and got them set up with a great website, but they weren't ready to launch at that time. And, as happens with all businesses, they hit their 'busy time' during the summer and fall and weren't able to get their content entered into LeftSide. About 2 weeks ago, they contacted us and we worked through a 'refresher' on how easy it is to manage website content with LeftSideand now they're ready to launch their new site. Co-owner, Collen VanGoethem said this about using LeftSide
"Thanks Ken for all your help. I really enjoy working on this website. I thought it would be so overwhelming and hard that I would never work on it. I can't thank you enough. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

 | | Apr '07 Another article on www.OgemawHeights.com. This one was the front page of the 'True North' section of the Bay City Times for Friday April 13, 2007. The picture is far too enormous for me (shows how I'm losing my hair), but was a great way to share with the region the work that GreyHayes Media did on the website. Page 1 is here and Page 2 is here for anyone interested in reading (these are large files).

 | | Jan '07 New GreyHayes Media website!
My how time flies! Back in '99 when I started 'tinkering' with web design, I never imagined that I'd be doing web design as a professional career 7 years later.
Officially 'GreyHayes Media' began in 2002 with our first client Northern Homes Realty and our company website followed closely behind (have to pay the bills before you can play).
The GreyHayes Media site had a small 'upgrade' to our look and feel in 2004 as CSS was added and at that time we began to really work on LeftSide, our content management system, so a client area was built as a reflection to our growth at that time.
Since then, we've incorporated, dropped our e.commerce packages, added virtual tour abilities, and refocused on what we do best : web!... Lots of changes which warranted a completely new approach to our business, and our web site design too. This new design is a far cry from the sites I started on in '99, and even radically different from our last company site... but evolving and changing and exploring new ways of doing things is really at the core of our business. The company has grown and changed over time and so we chose a new design to ring in a new year and communicate through that design that GreyHayes Media isn't stagnant, but instead poised and ready to continue to meet changing needs of our clients in 2007 and years beyond.
Thanks to all our clients who have brought us this far! We truly appreciate your partnership!

 | | Oct '06 Nick's Tile & Stone launched today. Owner Nick Sippl still has content to put into his website, but wanted to make sure it got up quickly to assist with his new growing area : Barrier Free Bathrooms. Nick didn't even have a logo to start with, and didn't have any idea what he wanted for a website, but having been a customer of Nick's I knew I wanted to convey his quality workmanship and share the beauitful work he does, so we designed him a simple, clean and elegant site that communicates the beauty of his work.
Nick had this to say about his new website design : "Dude, you are the man. I bow down in your presence. Nice job!"
We're not sure we're all THAT, but we're glad we have yet another satisified client. Check out his website today!

 | | Jul '06 Brad Smith, youth pastor at First Baptist Church - New Port Richey, FL, wanted GreyHayes Media to design a 'cool' website for his youth group.. but he also wanted content management to be something he could do on the fly to keep his website updated with his events, photos, etc. So we set him up with a new website which went live today : www.fbccow.com. Brad has this to say about his new website : >>>> Just so you know...I have been bragging on you to some other churches. And all the kids who have been on the site are TOTALLY impressed, and think it is awesome. One of my pastor friends in New Orleans was one of the guys who helped me dream up what we wanted to do, and he and I were talking last night, and the comment was made that everything that we dreamed up and more you did! So hat's off to you! >>>> Thanks for the kudos Brad.!

 | | Jun '06 Ogemaw County, Mi announces the release of their new website (www.ogemawcountymi.gov) at the County Board of Commissioners meeting this morning. We at GreyHayes Media are so thankful to work alongside of such a great group of people. The unique needs of Ogemaw County with many different departments, and web content generators who manage multiple departments required a unique and custom approach to content management system which was a layer of security and administration that is a step beyond our standard "LeftSide" CMS. We were excited to explore new territory with the staff at Ogemaw County as well as expand our offerings with new modules for MetaTag administration as well as a revision on Page Content Management. The new modules offer a level of flexibility to the Ogemaw County web administrators that allow them to determine not only what text appears on a page, but whether a form (or list of forms), links (or list of links), or photo galleries also appear on a given page. Please take a moment to visit their new site and check out what their staff has added to their site.

 | | May '04 Lee's Corner Motel goes live. Owner, Tom Lee, wasn't sure he really wanted - or needed - a website, but he knew that the bed and breakfasts in his area were online and so he thought he'd give it a chance. After explaining that websites are necessarily about 'growing' but sometimes 'maintaining' market share, we launched Tom's site and registered him with several search engines.
This is what Tom had to say about his site after just two weeks online : "We just had 5 rooms sold for 10 days they found us on the web. Thats GREAT!!! " ... far exceeding even our expectations!
